As the spring's season finales are wrapping up and the not-so entertaining summer T.V. schedule starts, I saw this summer as an opportunity to revisit my passion for watching movies and writing reviews.
I thought it would be fun to reach out to you for movies to watch. Yes, YOU! (Insert car salesman voice here). There are many, many critics out there, but almost all of them dictate what they watch. So I thought it would be fun to start a blog where others could tell me what they want to be reviewed!
Have you ever wanted to know how somebody else viewed that childhood classic you grew up with? Maybe it's a favorite T.V. episode of yours? Or maybe there is a film that you just personally love that you want to share with me?
You pick the film, I'll watch it, and then look for a review. It's that easy! (Insert car salesman voice here, again)
This blog will be very flexible. I don't know if the concept will catch on, but I'll try my best to get a steady stream of reviews coming in.
My first review will be covering this coming season of the Bachelorette (Trust me, I haven't lost my man card). This stems from my lunch group from work. We always talk about the episodes, and since one of our fellow employees is leaving soon, I thought it would be fun to write my thoughts about the show that honestly, I don't really like, but I can't help but watch.
I'm going to continue with my AFI list of the 100 Greatest Movies (look for #78 very soon) and I'll continue to post on NTSProductions.blogspot.com. Those posts will start to just display video work that I've done in the past, those that I do on the side and ones that I produce for work.
